It may seem frivolous to have a blog post all about… well…a pair of boots. But joy comes in many forms and today, joy is this.

You know how when you become a mom, your style kind of adapts to meet the dynamic role of being a parent? My style has leaned more toward comfort, practicality, and functionality.

And you do that for several years, and one day, you don’t really know what is your style anymore. I mean, I probably have no idea where I get inspiration for my outfits from the past 9 years.

All I know is that they are breastfeeding accesible, does not hug my belly so I can breathe and comfy enough for me to run after small kids.

The Athlefit Chelsea Ankle Boots (aka My Comfy Mom Boots)

Lately I find myself having fun putting together an outfit. It has been so long since I shopped for an outfit “just because”. And looking through my inventory, I am in dire need of shoes.

This chelsea lug boots is a perfect buy. I usually steer away from heels, but this one has chunky ones. I love to try new things and find a new style that speaks to me.

What I Love About It

The Chunky Heels and Thick Soles. I can run after my toddler with these. They are comfy for long walks and definitely anti-slip. Mom needs, check.
Pull On Strap. I can wear this with ease. They are slip on and the pull strap at the back makes it easier to put them on.
Feels Sturdy. You know, heels but sturdy. Heels but I can still walk normally. Defintely mom comfy.
Easy to Match with Many Outfits. Jeans, leggings, wide leg pants, and even skirts. These Chelsea boots looks nice a variety of outfit. I love that it makes me look put together even with a simple top of and jeans.

The Price

These boots have a fair price point, in my opinion. They are (as of this writing) 53.99 usd. And for something that meets a lot of my needs as a mom of 3, I really do think it is a good buy.

It is perfect for those of you who have been in hiatus with their fashion life, and now slowly starting to build your wardrobe again.
