Morning Routines of Successful People
You how much I love having a morning routine. This simple practice sets the tone of the day and in the long run, actually makes me a better person. Today, let’s have fun peeking through the morning routines of successful people.
Would it be nice to know how they begin their days and see if something resonates or are similar to what we already do? Let’s find out!
1. Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs, is the founder of the electronic giant, Apple. But then, we all know him, don’t we? He is an early riser. He slips into a uniform outfit everyday (a black turtleneck and a blue jeans). I love this because it takes away the guess work of what outfit to wear everyday, saving a significant amount of time. Find this and what the rest of Steve Job’s day look like.
2. Oprah
Oprah is one of my favorite motivational speakers. She is big on self-improvement, spiritual growth and over-all improving the quality of life.
Not surprisingly, Oprah’s day begins by taking in positive contents like the motivational quotes from her Gathered Truths Box. And she also goes for a walk with her dogs, and spends time out in nature.
She meditates, exercises and loves her morning hazelnut coffee. Check out Oprah’s daily routine.
Oprah also advocates keeping a gratitude journal, no matter how busy life gets. I especially love how she spends a lot of time enjoying simple things, like the nature around her.
3. Bill Gates
Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, wakes up early and at the same time everyday. He spends a good amount of time reading in the morning, and also exercising. He loves brisk walking and sees exercising as a way to relieve stress and to stay focused.
He loves to have a nutritious breakfast that follows his vegetarian diet. See other life changing habits of Bill Gates.
‘Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment.’
~Thich Nhat Hanh
4. Michelle Obama
Former first lady Michelle Obama, the wife of former president Barack Obama wakes up really early and prioritizes her work outs. She loves yoga and low impact trainings to keep fit and healthy.
I do believe exercising is a vital component to any morning routine. If you love to work out from home, check out my favorite female workout channels on YouTube.
5. Beyonce
The well-known and successful singer/ performer loves to begin her day with journaling and meditation. She prioritizes working out big time which, needless to say, is essential for the energy required in her performances.
See the rest of Beyoncé’s day here.

One of my favorite spiritual teachers, Eckhart Tolle loves spending time in nature, walking and just being. He loves his days slow and private. Check out this short video of Eckhart describing his typical day.

Successful people are simply those with successful habits

Success
By no means, this is an exclusive list of successful people. I picked the people and the practices that resonates with me the most. And this is also established to create a bit of variety as possible. Moreover, success cannot be defined by just one thing. It is not measured by money alone, nor fame.
Success is different for everyone. Heck, success can mean different things on a given day! I believe this morning routines of successful people list is a representation of just how success can be achieved by just anyone, because in truth, to be successful is to be able to do one, even just one thing, that is nourishing for your body, mind and spirit.
